We are a “Choo Choo Train” in waiting according to the “mysteries of the deep” navigator and tactician team, but on shore we are wondering will history repeat itself.

Quote from the boat…

“…..Morning sports lovers,

Not sure what day it is, but life on SY Phaedo is business a usual.

After a cold night we now have the most surreal sight... fog on the port side, clear sky and sun on the stb side and the most stunning turquoise sea - (water temp 11' warm).

As forecast has been light wind for the last while, wait, in about 6 hours we'll be on the train again going straight toward the station. Good times coming....

Phaedo out….”

Back in 1978 there was a race across the atlantic, “The Route de Rhum”’ in which a 35ft Trimiran “Olympus” sailed by Michael Birch took line honors over a 70ft Monohull “Kriter V” sailed by Michel Malinovsky..

It created a Mono / Multihull storm!!!!!

What will happen with the 66ft Gunboat “Phaedo” versus the 289ft Perini Navi “Maltese Falcon”???

Will David beat Goliath?
