We did however need to make a sail repair using our electric sewing machine. This was powered via a vice-grip pliers clamped to the fly wheel at the end of the machine which Jay spun round and round while Will sewed the patch. Still foggy, but we've had a lot of wind and 8-10ft seas to surf down and we're going fast and making a lot of miles.
