> Our weather routing has paid off well so far. The wind veered as we'd hoped and we're now able to sail a direct course to the finish at good speed. There is still a good possibility of light wind off the coast at the finish which would give everyone a chance to take the race in the final hours. We're thinking our northerly approach will allow us to skirt the worst of the light air but only time will tell.

> The crew is eagerly anticipating the finish. The ETA pool was set up with a thousand miles to go and right now everyone has a good shot at winning. We're also keeping track of the mileage each watch is making and the average speed each watch. The port watch has a few miles lead on the starboard watch so far and it's game on every watch till we get to the finish line.
