Dawn Star was the first Baltic 46 imported in to the United States in 1976. In the past Dawn Star has competed in the Newport to Bermuda race and various other coastal races in the Northeast and on the west coast of the USA. More recently Dawn Star completed a cruise from San Diego Ca to New Zealand and Australia. She also competed in the 2010 Sydney to Hobart race while in Australia.
Owner/Captain/Charterer
Bill and Will Hubbard, have been ocean racing all over the world over the last 10 years. Starting with the 2000 Newport to Bermuda race thru to the 2005 transatlantic race and the 2010 Sydney to Hobart race this winter. They have logged over 10,000 Nautical Miles together and taken home a number of ocean racing trophy’s as well.
