Chris Bull
Chris Bull has owned and skippered a succession of racing yachts since the 1980s. Since 2000, mostly concentrating on offshore events, he has achieved class wins in the Rolex Fastnet, Sydney to Hobart and Middle Sea races, the RORC Round Britain & Ireland and Cascais races, and the Round Ireland race. He has competed in many RORC seasons, and won season’s points titles. He is a former Vice-Commodore of RORC, and is also a member of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia and the Royal Malta Yacht Club. He lives in Malta and Australia.
Since buying his present yacht Jazz – a canting-keel Cookson 50 – in Sydney in 2010, Chris has achieved ORCi first overall and IRC first in class and second overall in the 2010 Rolex Sydney to Hobart race, followed by second in class and fourth overall in the 2011 RORC Caribbean 600 race. Jazz is an Australian competitor in the 2011 Atlantic Ocean Racing Series.
